Mr. Adhikari is Assistant Professor at Central Department of Economics, Tribhuvan University with more than a decade long experience of teaching and research. He received his Master’s of Arts in Economics degree from same department in 2003, and he is currently perusing Ph D from Tribhuvan University. He is also an executive member of Nepal Economic Association.
Mr. Adhikari’s research works and interest lies in the domain of environmental and health economics. He has also completed number of impact evaluation studies where quasi-experimental design has been primarily adopted. In addition, he has good understanding of micro data and micro econometrics. He has been continuously involved in the research with large scale household data. Over the years, he has accumulated good experience in field planning, execution, sampling design, instrument design in commensurate with local context. Mr. Adhikari already served number of institution- as a member or as a team leader including Government of Nepal, Asian Development Bank, and International Center for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD), International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) and GiZ among others.
Mr. Adhikari has received number of research grants including from University Grants Commission, South Asian Network of Development and Environmental Economics (SANDEE) and other research institutes and is awarded by scholarship by University and Central Bank of Nepal.
