SHIVA RAJ ADHIKARI is an Executive Member of Nepal Economic Association. He is a professor and Head of Economics at Central Department of Economics, Tribhuvan University, Nepal. He received his PhD in economics from Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand in 2010. Since, then, he has devoted most of his spare time to teach Economics at the Tribhuvan University and to carry out various researches in economics and policy issues. His research interests include impact evaluation, cost-benefit analysis, cost-effectiveness analysis, benefit incidence analysis, equity in government financing, among others. He has published more than 100 journal articles and book chapters in the areas of health economics, development issues and public finance. He has served as a member of Public Expenditure Review Commission, Government of Nepal, as a senior advisor of National Planning Commission, Government of Nepal and as a member of Inter-governmental fiscal council, Government of Nepal.
