Nepal Economic Association is co-hosting 18th South Asian Economics Student’s Meet (SAESM) along with Central Department of Economics, Tribhuvan University. The 18th SAESM is scheduled on March 12-17, 2023.
The SAESM is a well-established undergraduate economics student’s annual meet in South Asia. This event provides an opportunity for students to develop academic papers on various issues of regional importance, present the papers, and learn from each other. The annual meeting is usually a conference followed by a quiz contest and competition for budding economists. A retreat for the participants, generally sightseeing at some of the cultural and natural heritage sites, highlights the SAESM conclave.
NEA has long been associated in hosting SAESM, and had a privilege to organize it on 2020, 2017 and 2012.
